1. Fixed a CG error in the 7/03 sewer storyline.
2. Fixed a time display error in the 7/22 restaurant scene between Inoda and Asuna.
It turned out to be unexpectedly busy in April. Most of my development focus was on the Blackmail Route, leaving fewer resources for bug fixes. My apologies. Please continue to report bugs from previous versions, and I will keep addressing them. When reporting, providing as much detail as possible would be very helpful. For instance, someone mentioned that entering Klein’s house on July 14 would cause a black screen, but I’ve been unable to reproduce that issue, which makes it hard to investigate further. The more detail, the better.
Despite all the ups and downs, I’ve finally completed the scheduled April update, bringing SAO to an ending of sorts. Many of my past projects were left unfinished; at the very least, this one now has both a beginning and a conclusion.
This update focused entirely on the bad endings of the Blackmail Route, so the daytime content may feel more like a routine checklist. Still, I’ve planted some seeds for future routes. The Liz event originally planned for this month fits better with the Normal Route, and I wanted it to be polished. But given my energy and time constraints in April, I simply couldn’t craft it to a level I’d be satisfied with, so I’ve decided to postpone it to the next version.
The Blackmail Route centers on the antagonistic organization’s interactions with Kirito, so Inoda doesn’t get much screen time in its ending. However, some of the dialogue hints that his fate won’t be pleasant. Regarding Asuna’s portrayal, I initially considered going further—such as stomach punching, bruises on her face and body—but such fetishes are too niche, so I eventually dropped those ideas. As for Suguha, I planned to involve her more deeply in Thursday night’s events and have a violent confrontation with the antagonists. But after writing it out, it felt ineffective and logically forced, so I cut that as well.
Now, to address some feedback from previous comment sections. One player suggested adding a “small toy” mechanic, which I found quite interesting. I may incorporate something along those lines in future updates. I will never degrade Asuna in any way; I will only strengthen and upgrade her—consider it the author’s own special cheat. Much like Inoda’s cheat is his extraordinary luck, or Kirito’s ability to live happily no matter what.
Some fans have told me that many people criticize me and dislike this story. Every story has its audience. NTR and infidelity are niche tastes to begin with, so it’s natural that many are put off. Let me simply enjoy my niche in peace. If you don’t like it, feel free not to follow it—there’s no need to make each other uncomfortable. If playing this game has made you feel uneasy or disgusted, I can only apologize, as I have no real comfort to offer. To those who enjoy this story, I will continue to patiently refine the scenes and plots, hoping each route will deliver a satisfying ending.
Finally, let's talk about future update plans. Although attention on SAO has been steadily dropping, I actually see it as returning to the level it should be at. I've always been a creator who writes niche fetishes—what I love is NTR and hidden infidelity. To be honest, just speaking from my personal taste, I don't even really want to make flashbacks from the heroine's perspective. The brief surge in popularity and breakout attention ended up attracting players who don’t actually like NTR—as well as those who have their own very specific aesthetic rules for it (like "cheating doesn't count as NTR," or "it's not good NTR unless the antagonist is handsome enough")—and in the end, neither side was really happy.
So I’ll return to my original intention. Since I do this for passion, I’ll create what I’m passionate about. If I can bring some joy to a handful of like-minded friends, that’s already a spiritual satisfaction for me. With that in mind, I’ll at least stick with SAO until the Normal Route is complete, and the Tyrant Route will definitely have an ending. Its scale, however, will depend on how well it’s received. As for the True Ending, I originally planned to present it as a small sandbox, but may simplify it depending on my later energy and inspiration.
My next project is already in its initial planning stages, but many details remain undecided, so I can’t elaborate too much. What I can say is that it will borrow iconic characters and world settings from a famous work, though the names will be changed. Technically, it won’t be the “genuine” characters, but the experience will be essentially indistinguishable—a pseudo-original, true doujin approach, best viewed as a parallel world to the source material. This makes it easier to write and adapt, while avoiding accusations of OOC. In terms of story design, I’m currently torn between NTR and BSS—i.e., whether the male and female leads have an established romantic or marital relationship. Even without a formal relationship from the start, there will at least be mutual affection. I’d welcome your suggestions on this.
Anyway, I’ve rambled enough. Lastly, I wish everyone a happy International Workers’ Day. I haven’t enjoyed an eight-hour workday in a long time—I’ve been pulling over a dozen hours nonstop for years. 這個月工作也很繁忙,製作重點也全部壓在了脅迫線上,對BUG的修復就沒能分配太多資源,抱歉。還請大家繼續反饋過往版本的BUG,我會持續跟進修復。反饋的時候也希望儘量多提供一些信息,比如之前看到有朋友說7月14日進入克萊因家會黑屏,這個問題我自己一直沒能復現,就很難進一步排查原因,類似這樣的情況,越詳細越能幫上忙。
雖然各種磕磕絆絆,但總算是把四月的預定更新做完了,也算給出了SAO一條路線的結局。之前有很多項目都爛尾了,這一部保證了有始,也至少有了一個有終。
這次更新的重點全部放在了脅迫線的壞結局上,所以白天的內容就顯得比較單薄,不過也為後續其他線路埋下了一些楔子。原本計劃本月放出的莉茲事件,因為更貼合普通線,而且想做得精緻一些,思前想後,以四月的精力和時間實在不足以打磨出一個讓自己滿意的事件,最終決定還是放到下個版本再呈現。
脅迫線的核心在於反派組織與桐人的交互,因此豬田在這條線的結局沒有給太多畫面。不過在事件中的台詞裡做了一點暗示,他過得不會太好就是了。至於亞絲娜的部分演出,一開始確實有考慮做得更過分一些,比如腹擊、以及臉上和身上的淤青之類。但虐待這種性癖實在過於小眾,最終還是放棄了。另外關於直葉,原計劃是讓她更深地介入周四晚上的事件,並與反派發生激烈衝突,但劇本寫出來之後感覺效果不好,邏輯上也有些勉強,所以也一併捨棄了。
順便回應一下之前評論區的一些反饋。有玩家提了個「夾小玩具」的玩法建議,我覺得挺有意思,後續版本可能會參考一部分。
也有粉絲告訴我,有很多玩過遊戲的人在攻擊我、不喜歡這個作品。其實每個故事都有它自己的受眾,NTR也好、出軌也罷,本來就是比較小眾的口味,被大眾反感也很正常。那就請允許我圈地自萌,不喜歡的朋友不必過度關注,免得彼此都不愉快。如果遊玩本作已經給你帶來了不適或噁心,我只能說聲抱歉,確實沒辦法給出什麼實質性的安慰。而喜歡這個故事的玩家,我會繼續耐心打磨後續的演出和情節,希望每一條路線都能帶給大家一個滿意的結局。
最後聊聊未來的更新計劃。雖然現在SAO的關注度在持續下降,但我覺得這其實是回歸到了它本該有的水平。我本來就是個寫小眾性癖的作者,喜歡的就是NTR和隱奸,說句心裡的話,單從個人口味來講,我連女主的正向回想都不太想做。曾經的熱度和破圈,反倒吸引來了一些並不喜歡NTR的玩家,以及一些對NTR有自己專屬美學定義的玩家——比如認為出軌不算NTR、黃毛不夠帥就不算好NTR等等——結果雙方都挺彆扭。
所以還是保持初心吧,既然是興趣使然在做,自然要做些興趣使然的東西。能讓一群志同道合、愛好接近的朋友從中獲得一些快樂,對我來說就已經是一種精神上的滿足了。因此SAO我至少會堅持到普通線完成,霸王線也肯定會給一個結尾,但具體體量要看大家對這條線的接受度。至於真結局,我本意是做一個小型箱庭來演出,但也可能根據後續的精力與靈感進行簡化。
下一部作品已經有了初步的企劃,但很多細節還沒定下來,所以暫時不好細說。能透露的是,大概會借用某部著名作品的經典人設和世界觀,不過名字會改掉。也就是說,技術上並非本尊,但實際觀感和本尊也沒什麼本質區別,屬於偽原創、真同人的路子,可以當作原著的平行世界來看。這樣處理,一來方便故事展開和改編,二來也能避免被說OOC。故事設計上,目前是在NTR和BSS之間搖擺,也就是男主和女主是否建立了正式的戀愛或婚姻關係。即便沒有正式的關係設定,一開始的相互喜歡肯定還是有的。這一點希望大家能給些建議。
